The Situation
With a large number of employees living abroad with their families, some in dangerous parts of the world, a government agency needed a way to track, monitor and ensure the safety of these employees' children while they were being transported to and from school.
Our Objective
Outfit the client with a completely customized GPS tracking solution, designed from the ground up to provide secure school bus tracking and offer direct, customized communication between each bus and the tracking software.

Government agency employing hundreds of families with children, all living abroad. In some cases, regional hostilities raised the concern that these families' children might become targets for abduction.
Achievements
- Provided fully-functional installation of Cygnus Track Integrator Edition, fully customized with all relevant mapping data on the regions in question
- Developed custom software interface between Cygnus Track and the customer's own GPS tracking devices, enabling each school bus driver to communicate special coded messages directly to the GPS tracking system — with codes indicating general emergencies, bus hijackings and more.
- Delivered full source code to the application for transparency, enabling the customer to maintain and enhance their own solution going forward.
- Provided enhanced safety, security and peace of mind for each family working and living abroad.
