Greetings all,

We're pleased to announce the official release of Cygnus Track 6.0! This is one of the biggest upgrades we've ever done for Cygnus Track and it brings with it a host of new features, concepts and bug fixes that you're going to want to check out. Perhaps most important of all are the "behind the scenes" upgrades that we've done to make Cygnus Track vastly easier to customize, extend and integrate seamlessly with your business.

Here are some of the exciting new things we've added to make Cygnus Track an even more powerful and robust tracking solution:

New Starter Edition Pricing: Free Forever with Up To 3 Devices

We've changed Cygnus Track Starter Edition from a trial-based model to a free model, where you'll pay absolutely nothing to track up to three devices for as long as you like. Additional device licenses cost just $9.95 per month, per device. Now it's even easier to start tracking today, no upfront costs and no recurring charges.

Get your own free Cygnus Track Starter Edition account today to start taking advantage of this and the other great new features on offer, below.

The All-New Device Gateway

With Cygnus Track 6, we've introduced the Device Gateway system. The Device Gateway is a centralized database that makes it easy for your tracking devices to communicate with one or many Cygnus Track installations. Using the new system, it's easier than ever to add support for your own custom tracking device hardware, facilitate two-way communication between your devices as Cygnus Track, and integrate Cygnus Track into your existing business systems.

To learn more about the Device Gateway, take a look at the overview.

The Device Simulator

To make working with the Device Gateway even easier, we've developed the Device Simulator. This free downloadable application simulates GPS tracking sessions, device triggered alerts, two-way communication and lots more. It's a great way to test your custom device listeners, or even just experiment with Cygnus Track and see all that the system has to offer -- all without ever deploying a real tracking device or driving a live session.

You can start working with the Device Simulator at any time. Just download it here and then glance through our new How-To Videos to show you how to get up and running.

The Developer Center

To go along with Cygnus Track 6.0, we've launched a new developer-centric area of our website. The Developer Center is home to QuickStart Guides, API documentation, software development kits and sample device listeners that are all designed to make it easy for developers to customize and extend Cygnus Track themselves.

We're adding new articles and videos continuously, so keep checking back if you don't see the content you're looking for.

Tracking Screen Enhancements

We've made the Cygnus Track web portal's tracking screen more flexible. It displays more of the information you want, where you want it, including reports and session information. The data panels are also resizable so that you can see what you're most interested in without having to scroll around.

Multi-Browser Support

We've certified Cygnus Track 6.0 for use with multiple web browsers, not just Internet Explorer. Now you can use Firefox, Chrome or Safari to track and manage all of your assets over the web.

And That's Not All...

Cygnus Track 6 also includes numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements throughout the system, so your tracking efforts run more smoothly and more quickly.

We invite you to sign up for your free Starter Edition account and explore everything Cygnus Track 6.0 has to offer, absolutely free of charge. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here in the forums -- they're your direct channel of support!

Thanks for choosing Cygnus Track,
ThinkGeo
